Our journey began in 2019, when a personal decision to stop using harsh chemicals on my daughters’ hair led to a return to nature’s remedies. Struggling through hair days filled with tears and breakage, I turned to traditional herbal knowledge and began crafting my own blends of herbs, oils, and butters. The results were transformative — softer hair, less shedding, and real growth.

What started as a personal healing ritual became a shared solution as family and friends began requesting the products. Afro Care by Mama was born from that journey — rooted in Afro-Caribbean traditions, guided by ancestral wisdom, and fuelled by a mission to make natural hair care simple, safe, and sacred.
